The Signs of the End Times in Matthew 24:3-14 (NKJV)
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
The Signs of the End Times in II Timothy 3:1-5 (NKJV)
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Out of all these, the key issue is “Narcissistic self-love”
- There are people who come to church out of self-love, they go to church to hear what they want to hear, and skip church when they don’t like the speaker
Good and evil in end times described in Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV)
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
- This is describing that in end times, what is evil will be seen as good
Go through every point and ask yourself: “In reference to all these, who am I?”
If we believe that we are living in the last days, we will not live the same. It is time to recognise.
The Signs of Revelation 12:1-2 (The Great Sign)
Revelation 12:1: Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
The Bethlehem Star and the woman (Virgo & Leo)
- Virgo is in the shape of a woman, with Moon located at her feet and the Sun on her shoulder, representing the “woman in Great Sign in heaven”
- Leo is made up of 9 stars, with 3 planets nearby, representing the crown of twelve
- This constellation of Virgo and Leo makes up the Bethlehem Star
- In 1900 B.C., the Bethlehem star was shown to Abraham, after 2000 years, when Jesus was born, the Bethlehem star was here again, and now after 2000 years the star is returning.
- First appearance of the star coincided with man’s first covenant with God
- Second appearance coincided with Jesus’ first coming (birth of Christ) to create a new covenant
- And now the star is making its third appearance: could it be Jesus’ second coming?
The Child Birth (Jupiter)
Revelation 12:2: Then being with child, she cried out in labour and in pain to give birth
- Jupiter enter the womb of Virgo and stayed for 10 months (parallel to child birth)
- This sign happened about 5932 years ago (around 3915 BC) when Adam and Eve fell
- Eve was cursed with labour pains because of the Fall
- This sign is happening again, the onset of labour is coming
- The end times are called labour pains in Matthew 24:8
- Jupiter will exit the womb in Sept of 2017
- During the End Time, some of us will be raptured – snatched away and not suffer the End Times

The Signs of an Overcomer
To be an overcomer, we need to consider:
- Are you anchored in the Church? (Revelation 1:10-11)
- The end time message that God proclaimed was addressed to the church, if you are not anchored in the church, you will not receive His message
- Christ loved the church and gave His life for the church. If we love Christ, how can we not be a part of the church He loves?
- What is church to you? Church is a spiritual Entity, we must come together to pray
- Are you Committed? (Revelation 1:12)
- The word turn (Greek: Epistrephō) is not just physical; it also means to return to the love and obedience of God
- Also means to love His people
- We all must turn away from our distractions
- Turn to God: Commit ourselves to love Him, to serve Him
- What are you Committed to?
- The word turn (Greek: Epistrephō) is not just physical; it also means to return to the love and obedience of God
- Are you ready for the return of Christ? (Revelation 1:13-16, 17-18)
- Jesus is coming back as a judge
- Even John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, fell at his feet out of sheer fear when He saw Christ in this revelation
- During the end times, it is important to have the fear of the Lord and not fear of the world, for Christ is coming back as a judge to separate good and evil
- Do we have the fear of the Lord? How are we honouring God? Will we be able to face God when he returns?
If Christ were to come back now, would you be ready?
We need to begin to:
- Take stock of our lives
- Think about who God is to you
- Talk to people about Jesus – when Christ returns, if your friends are still not saved, they will face eternal suffering in hell. Share your testimony, preach the Gospel, demonstrate your love
Revelation 1:10-18
I (John) was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I (Jesus talking) am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
Then I (John) turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
