Where are you in the journey? Is the road you choose all about honoring God? Many Christians are straying away from God. We must walk in faith in this journey so that it will keep us in God.

The Roadmap:

1)     The starting point of faith is to take heed.

Luke 17:1-2

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Offenses and stumbling block will come and some will lose faith because of it. Do not be the stumbling block. All of us have been stumbled. What do we keep do to keep our faith? Look at the next verse (3, 4)

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins [c]against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns [d]to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Yes, take heed to yourselves! It is also to guard one another and watch out for one another. Do you someone stumble you and you cannot forgive them? Make sure you guard your heart.

Matthew says: forgive 77 times! It meant to keep forgiving!

Luke 17:5- Disciples asks: Increase our faith. What has stumbling block got to do with increase our faith?

2)     The subsistence of faith is to examine our heart

What is “subsistence”?

It meant to maintain or support something.

Luke 17:6

So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you

What does verse 6 means? Jesus seems to say to Peter: Stop avoiding the issue. Its is not the size of  your faith that matters but it is the heart! If your heart is right, even if your faith is small, it can uproot a mulberry tree.

Do you know about Mulberry tree that was mentioned by Jesus?

Mulberry tree is toxic (a lot of parts will harm your body if you eat it.) It has invasive and damaging roots. Stubborn roots: it will entangle other tree’s roots near it. It will not give way to other trees.

If you have faith like a mustard seed, you can uproot this very stubborn tree! Examine our heart, does the Word of God go into our heart and change your life?

It is not how much our faith is. It is the quality of our faith.

3)     The surety of faith is to obey

Luke 17:7-10

And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded [e]him? I think not. 10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.

Can we hear what the verse says? We are still God’s servants. We may sometimes think that God is our servant!

God desires us to have clean hands and pure heart. Faith is measured according whether we obey God. If we obey God, we are demonstrating our faith. If we want to see our faith increase, we must obey God. Our obedience will move the mountains of unbelievers.

1 Samuel 15:22 Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Obedience always requires sacrifice! Sacrifice doesn’t always need obedience. Obeying God’s instructions and he will take care of us. Pray! Without obedience, do you know that prayer is like noise?

Are there things or areas in our life that needs “obedience?” Maybe we need to forgive someone or something you need to work on?

Application:

Examine our life: Is there something in your life to let go and let God take over?

การทำความผิดและการสะดุดจะมาถึง และบางคนจะสูญเสียความเชื่อเพราะมัน  อย่าเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้สะดุด พวกเราเคยสะดุด เราต้องทำอะไรเพื่อรักษาความเชื่อของเราไว้?

“จงระวังตัวให้ดี ถ้าพี่น้องทำการละเมิดต่อท่าน จงเตือนเขา และถ้าเขากลับใจแล้ว จงยกโทษให้เขา แม้เขาจะทำการละเมิดต่อท่านวันหนึ่งเจ็ดหน และจะกลับมาหาท่านทั้งเจ็ดหนในวันเดียวนั้น แล้วว่า ‘ฉันกลับใจแล้ว’ จงยกโทษให้เขาเถิด”

ใช่ จงระวังตัวเอง!  นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นการปกป้องกันและกันและระวังซึ่งกันและกัน มีใครทำให้คุณสะดุดและคุณไม่สามารถให้อภัยพวกเขาใช่ไหม  ให้แน่ใจว่าคุณปกป้องหัวใจของคุณเอง

“ การยังชีพ”   คืออะไร?

หมายถึงการรักษาหรือสนับสนุนบางสิ่งบางอย่าง

ลูกา 17:6

“พระองค์ตรัสตอบว่า “ถ้าท่านมีความเชื่อเล็ก เท่าเมล็ดมัสตาร์ดเมล็ดหนึ่ง ท่านสามารถสั่งต้นหม่อนนี้ว่า ‘จงถอนรากไปปักในทะเล’ และมันก็จะเชื่อฟังท่าน”

ข้อ 6 หมายถึงอะไร? ดูเหมือนพระเยซูจะพูดกับเปโตร: หยุดหลีกเลี่ยงปัญหานี้  นั่นไม่ใช่ขนาดความเชื่อของคุณที่มีความสำคัญ แต่มันเป็นหัวใจ! ถ้าใจของคุณถูกต้องแม้ว่าความเชื่อของคุณจะน้อย ก็สามารถถอนรากต้นหม่อนได้

คุณรู้เกี่ยวกับต้นหม่อนที่พระเยซูกล่าวถึงหรือไม่?

ต้นหม่อนเป็นพิษ (ส่วนมากจะเป็นอันตรายต่อร่างกายของคุณถ้าคุณกินเข้าไป) มันมีรากที่รุกรานและสร้างความเสียหาย รากที่ดื้อรั้น: มันจะไปพันกับรากของต้นไม้อื่นที่อยู่ใกล้ๆ มันจะไม่หลีกทางให้ต้นไม้อื่นๆ

ไม่ใช่ว่าความเชื่อของเรามีมากแค่ไหน แต่มันคือคุณภาพของศรัทธาของเรา

3)    หลักประกันแห่งศรัทธาคือการเชื่อฟัง

ลูกา 17:7-10

““สมมุติว่าพวกท่านคนหนึ่งมีบ่าวไถนาหรือดูแลแกะ เมื่อบ่าวกลับจากทุ่งนา เขาจะบอกหรือว่า ‘มาเถิด มานั่งรับประทานอาหาร’? เขาน่าจะพูดว่า ‘จงเตรียมอาหารให้เราและเตรียมตัวให้พร้อม คอยรับใช้เราขณะที่เรากินและดื่ม หลังจากนั้นเจ้าจึงค่อยกินและดื่ม’ มิใช่หรือ? เขาจะขอบใจที่บ่าวทำตามที่เขาสั่งหรือ? ท่านก็เช่นกัน เมื่อทำทุกอย่างตามที่รับคำสั่งแล้ว ควรกล่าวว่า ‘เรา เป็นคนรับใช้ที่ไร้ค่า เราเพียงทำตามหน้าที่ของเราเท่านั้น”’

เราได้ยินสิ่งที่บทความได้กล่าวหรือไม่?  เรายังคงเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระเจ้า บางครั้งเราอาจคิดว่าพระเจ้าทรงเป็นผู้รับใช้ของเรา!

พระเจ้าปรารถนาให้เรามีมือที่สะอาดและมีใจที่บริสุทธิ์  ความเชื่อวัดได้ตามที่ว่าเราเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าหรือไม่ ถ้าเราเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าแสดงว่าเรามีความเชื่อ หากเราต้องการเห็นความเชื่อของเราเพิ่มขึ้นเราต้องเชื่อฟังพระเจ้า และการเชื่อฟังของเราจะเคลื่อนย้ายภูเขาของผู้ที่ไม่เชื่อ

1 ซามูเอล 15:22  การเชื่อฟังก็ดีกว่าการถวายเครื่องบูชา

การเชื่อฟังต้องเสียสละเสมอ! การเสียสละไม่จำเป็นต้องเชื่อฟังเสมอไป เชื่อฟังคำสั่งของพระเจ้าและพระองค์จะดูแลเรา อธิษฐาน! หากปราศจากการเชื่อฟัง คุณรู้ไหมว่าการสวดอ้อนวอนเป็นเหมือนเสียงรบกวน

มีบางสิ่งหรือพื้นที่ในชีวิตของเราที่ต้องการ“ การเชื่อฟัง” หรือไม่? บางทีเราอาจต้องให้อภัยใครบางคน หรือบางสิ่งบางอย่างที่คุณต้องดำเนินการ

การประยุกต์ใช้:

ตรวจสอบชีวิตของเรา:  ว่ามีบางสิ่งในชีวิตของคุณที่จะปล่อยวางหรือไม่ และปล่อยให้พระเจ้าเข้ามาแทนที่.
